So beautiful Soni. Sacrifice teaches us the value of the things we have.
Well, you can reuse the wax again.
I got some information from Wikipedia:
Today, most candles are made from paraffin wax, a byproduct of petroleum refining. Candles can also be made from microcrystalline wax, beeswax (a byproduct of honey collection), gel (a mixture of polymer and mineral oil), or some plant waxes (generally palm, carnauba, bayberry, or soybean wax).
Now… this is a great poem.
Flame is always a great comparison to any form of life, not least because the flame that burns twice as bright, burns for only half as long (Bladerunner).
Oh my, Soni. My favorite haiku so far. I love the way you use burning, existence, and bliss together. Beautiful and transformational. Have a lovely Sunday, my friend. ❤️❤️❤️
